the word manifestation in the Greek means to 'clearly see with the eye'

the video below is pretty good. I do not know this woman but I like her teaching on this topic. it's difficult to find simple messages on the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.  I appreciate that she never calls these gifts (they are not called so in the Bible). she speaks about them as normal natural things that God has enabled us to do.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,

and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

NOTE:

some read this to mean as He (God) determines or wills to distribute- but I read it as he (the person) wills to operate the manifestation of the Holy Spirit given to him or her at the time of the new birth.
